What's up Pandas! Henry just made a blog post stating some things about beta. Sadly, when they update the game the site is going to be down for a while! :( But for now, Henry, Sheriff Steele and most of the moderators are going around Pandanda talking to their fellow Pandanda citizens. So you guys will get a chance to see them tonight! We added a countdown to the right sidebar and their is less than 5 hours until beta ends!!!! Also, everyone who logs in tomorrow on Saturday October 24, will get a special item showing that you were present during beta testing! Here is what Henry said in his own words.:

The countdown has begun! October 23nd, 2009 Hey Everyone! Today is the last day of Beta. October 24th is the official launch day and there will be celebrations all day long! Sheriff Steele and I will be visiting all around Pandanda throughout the day as well as your favorite moderators! There will be new locations, new clothes, new furniture, pets, and lots of excitement! And don't forget, everyone who logs in on Saturday the 24th will receive a special launch celebration item for their Panda. Show everyone you were there the day Pandanda officially launched! I've added a countdown timer to the top of the blog so everyone will know exactly when launch day starts. It will only show the right time if your clock is right on your computer. Just prior to launch the website will be offline for the last hour as our servers are updated and you will see a maintenance page. If you haven't checked out the amazing Elite Membership special offer for Beta players, head on over to the membership page, as today is the last day. See you tomorrow, Henry

Pandanda 3rd Beta Item!

Hey everyone! Pandanda's 3rd beta item, which we know is a blue "I'm a Beta" t-shirt, is finally out!! :D All you have to do is log into Pandanda! The beta t-shirt should be added into your account! Now here are pictures of the beta item and how it looks when you long on and on yourself:

P.S. Also just in case, many others are wondering and complaining about why they are bringing another t-shirt again, it is because many many pandas have emailed and contacted Pandanda about not getting the white "I'm a Beta" shirt therefore they can get the current t-shirt, so Pandanda has decided to bring it back but in blue form.

New Issue of PLA & New Beta Item Coming Soon!

Hey Pandas, Henry made a blog post today containing a new beta item release and a new issue of PLA! Here is what Henry said in his latest blog post. :

New PLA Today and Next Beta Item! June 17th , 2009 Hey Everyone! There's a new PLA Today newspaper in game now. Check it out for lots of cool photos from the party this past weekend! Also, this week is your last chance to get the Beanie Cap Beta Item. It will disappear at the end of Friday so if you haven't gotten it yet, you've only got a few more days to find it! A LOT of Pandas have been emailing me asking if they can get the white "I'm a Beta" t-shirt. Unfortunately, that item is not longer available. But due to the huge number of requests, we've decided to release the "I'm a Beta" t-shirt in blue! It will only be available for a limited time so be sure to log in starting Saturday to get your blue "I'm a Beta" shirt! And don't forget, if you really like the in-game t-shirt, you can buy a real one for yourself or for a friend! Check out the Pandanda clothes and official gear store where you can purchase real clothing, mouse pads, and even key chains! Purple Door's Party Decorations!

Hey fellow pandas! The Grand Opening of the Purple Door Party is today and we totally can't wait! :D When you log in theres a special beta shirt item as well! The beta item is a Purple Door t-shirt! It looks so cool! Here is what it should look like when you log in:

Not all rooms are decorated and some of those are the Clothing Co. Inc., Shady Glen, Orchard, and Darby Field. It would be really kool if everywhere was decorated along with more stuff instead of just purple balloons. However, it is still really cool and Purple Door is wicked! :D We can't wait to meet Henry and maybe even some of the other mods later today! Woot woot! :D

Party Reminder and Performance Help! June 12th , 2009 Hey Pandas! I just wanted to remind everyone of the party tomorrow! Check my post below to see when I'll be in Pandanda. I'll be moving around between both servers so if you see me be sure to say 'hi'! I hope to see everyone there, but even if you can't make it during the times I'll be on, you can still log in any time this weekend to receive the party gift. Some Pandas have asked how to improve the performance of the game. The performance of Pandanda can be affected by many different things including server population, your computer’s speed, and the size of your web browser window. One way to improve the performance is to change the "Graphics Quality" from the options menu. You can access the options menu by selecting the options icon on the menu bar. The "Graphics Quality" has settings of "High", "Medium", and "Low". You can try them all out to see which works best for your computer. Here are some other things you should try: Make sure no other applications are running on your computer other than your web browser. Do not download music or video while playing Pandanda. Close any other tabs you have open in your web browser. Shrink the game size by shrinking your web browser window. Sometimes it may help to reboot your computer if you have not done so in several days. So that is all for now, until later pandas!
