Hey Guys,

About a week ago we asked everyone to give us ideas on what Pandanda should add or remove from their game. We added some of your ideas up, and made a big huge email!

Here is the email we sent to Pandanda:

Dear Pandanda,

We have played and blogged about Pandanda since beta, and in the past few days, we asked pandas on our blog to tell us what they wanted to be added or removed to Pandanda.

Different topics came up in the comments; some said that Pandanda was falling behind as a virtual world; some said that Pandanda is repeating a lot of different festivals, and ideas, and everyone wanted new things to be added to the game.

New Quests, New Rooms, New Parties, More Blog Contests!

2011 hasn’t been the best year for Pandanda. In 2009, three rooms were added. In 2010, another three rooms were added. In 2011, nothing yet… in fact, the only real ‘new’ things in 2011 were the March of the Snowmen, the Tropical Break, and the new character, Maggie. Color Days are just copied from 2010, along with festivals, and different events.

Some Pandas wanted more small parties, like the 4th of July Party, just a few days, with decorations, and free items along with new ways to get free items - like scavenger hunts, riddles, etc. - instead of having to collect different things for festivals the majority of the time.

Bloggers

Bloggers together have wanted new ‘cutouts’ of pandas for graphics, to add a panda along with other up-to-date objects & items to our headers or sidebars, we used to be able to try to cut out those things from catalogs, but they are gone now.
Some bloggers wanted a Pandanda Blogger shirt, if you get accepted on the Pandanda blogroll, maybe the panda gets a special exclusive blogger shirt.

Cinema, Newspaper, and Others

We received a bunch of comments about the old cinema in Beta, asking it to come back, because everyone was excited for it coming.

The newspaper was enjoyable; everyone thought it was awesome to get the daily scoop of Pandanda news all at once.

Super-Questers

The super questers of Pandanda enjoy doing quests every day, but currently, there is no encouragement. Leading up to level 50, everyone was dedicated and excited to get a dragon… Now the super questers aren’t looking forward to anything, because there’s really nothing new in the Questy Greybeard Catalog.

Everyone is REALLY hoping that the quest level ends at 100. We can still do quests, but not go up in levels.

Super questers are also wishing that after a certain level, there can be less quests daily, but they are worth more Panda Power.

And maybe even an exclusive item for the first 25 or 50 super questers that reach level 100…?

Other Suggestions

A Panda Gold Gift card, like the membership gift card, so you can give others some panda gold.

We can save outfit combinations in our inventory, so we can switch between full outfits whenever we want.

Invisibility Mode, We can appear as offline to other players, while still being online, maybe this can be a special feature for super questers?

Different weather conditions, like rain or lightning should appear in-world.

We love the game Pandanda, but we honestly think some things about the game need to change.

We sent this email on Monday, August 22nd 2011, and after one full week of waiting - Pandanda finally responded. Here is their response:

Hi,

Thank you very much for all of the thought and effort you have put into these suggestions and feedback. We are working on a few changes to address some of the things you have brought up, but we are not yet at a point where we can reveal any details. We hope to be able to do so soon.

Regarding your feedback about the repetition of Festivals and Color Days, we understand that our players enjoy new and different events, but it is also important to develop some traditions for Pandanda - things that our players can look forward to every year. That is what the Pandanda Festivals are, as well as the different Color Days.

Our development and artistic team has been given your suggestions and feedback, and you can be sure that they will take your ideas into consideration as they make plans for Pandanda's future. We appreciate our loyal players and bloggers, and want Pandanda to continue being a place where you want to spend your time when you are online.

Keep those ideas and suggestions coming!

Lol, as most of you guys have notice, we finally received and email after posting our email to Pandanda. xP And honestly, overall, the email was a very general response like most of the emails we would receive. For now, the only thing we can do is wait and see if there any future changes that will occur on Pandanda. And hopefully, they will understand the points we trying to get to them about Pandanda. :) So what is your thoughts on the response from the Pandanda team?
